GENERAL RULES
01:: Be respectful to all members. Fun is fun and yeah, there will be a lot
of joking around, that’s the way things go, but only if you’re trying to
joke. Don’t disrespect people on the boards. If you don’t like somebody,
either deal with working with them or just leave.
02:: Do not post any nudity at all. I know you dirty perverts may like to
look at naked pictures, but don’t post any pornographic images on the boards
as it can get us into trouble.
03:: No racism at all. This is considered a serious offense and may lead to
an immediate ban. Remember, we’re all the same under the skin.
04:: Absolutely No advertising in PM's! You can use the Advertising Board
05:: Swearing is permitted. Yes, you are allowed to curse, but do try to
keep it to a minimum. I don’t want to read through threads full of Fs and
Cs, so try to tone it down.
06:: Make the new guys feel welcome. Think back to when you first started
out and remember how bad you were. Don’t bash people because they’re not as
talented as yourself, and instead offer them advice.
07:: Do not make your own matches. I see a lot of RPs where people say,
“Yeah, I’ll face you next week in a cage match”. I make the matches here.
You may want to face a certain person and that’s fine. Just PM me and I’ll
fit it in as soon as I can. Remember, not all matches can be barbed-wire
Hell in a Cell Inferno matches.
08:: Do not ask for a title match. The more you ask, the less likely you are
to receive. Shots at championships are rewarded and not just given away
because you want one.
09:: Do not complain if you lose a match. Staff members rate everyone's Role-plays, and all ratings are posted after each show. If you feel you were rated unfairly, take it up with them in a private conversation, and don't make a scene on the boards.
10:: Remember, ECW : Warefare is designed for you to have fun. It is a chance to
showcase your writing skills and interact with other wrestling fans. If
everybody follows the rules, then it will give us a great environment.
11:: Do not bug staff members with results, it gets annoying and
aggrivating. If results are late there is a good reason, and the situation does not need to be made worse because of immature acts.
RP Rules
01:: The general rule is quality over quantity, however if there is a
beautifully descriptive RP, but it is only one line long, the chances are, the sloppy page long one would win. You should try to aim for around 2000
words. You may do more and you may do less, but this is reasonable.
02:: There is a limit on the number of RPs you are allowed to do. You are able to do a maximum of 3 RPs for a normal match and 5 RPs for Tittle Matches. If your RP exceeds the maximum characters, post the rest straight away right after it.
03:: If you think you will be unable to RP for a match, tell me as soon as possible. I must recieve notification 5 days before the deadline, otherwise, I will be unable to change it.
04:: Do not use other people in your RPs without permission. That means attacking, talking to or even having them appear. You control yourself, not others. If they have your permission, then all’s well.
05:: You may swear, however, I don’t recommend it. It can really make an RP
seem bad and people will probably end up knocking marks off for it. Of course, unless it’s used in the right place.
06:: No racism. However, some nationalism is okay if that suits your
character. Like an English guy hating America and so on, but nothing over
the top. Be sensible with it. There is, however, to be no bashing of other
Religions or Beliefs, people can take offense to that quite easily.
07:: There’s often a time when people mix what happen in character to what
happens out of character. Please, don’t do it. OOC and IC are different
things, so if someone calls you a (example) silly pregnant dog OOC, don’t say “You
may call me a sill…” and stuff like that.
08:: Under any circumstances, do not use a celebrity or a real person in
your RPs. Yes, this is all fictional, but even in fiction you can't meet
your favourite basket ball player or singer.
09:: Don't fill your RPs with quotes or segments from other people's RPs or
from any matches. It's just pointless and can ruin an RP. That writing is
other people's work and shouldn't be used for yourself.
10:: Failing to RP counts as breaking a rule and will be dealt with under
those conditions [See “Failure to Comply”]. This is because we need to
determine who is active and who isn’t, in order to keep active rosters.
Roleplay Deadlines
ECW - Sunday Midnight EGMT
Pay-Per-Views – Friday Midnight GMT (2 days before PPV )
FALURE TO COMPLY
If, for whatever reason you fail to abide by the rules, a number of things
can happen, depending on the seriousness of it. It is our right to skip
stages if we feel necessary.
01:: PRIVATE WARNING
If you accidentally break the rules or are new and don’t fully understand,
you will be warned via PM. We will quote the broken rule to you and ask that
you apologise and do nothing more.
02:: PUBLIC WARNING
If the Private Warning fails, then we will warn you publicly. There will be
a meter under your name with a certain percentage, depending on how heavy
the offence. Once the meter surpasses 100%, we will move on to stage 3. This
meter can be moved down if you do well.
03:: SUSPENSION
If you continue to break the rules, your account will be suspended for a
minimum of three days. If you committed a high fault, then you will be gone
longer. Upon returning, stage 2 will still be in affect and you will come
back with a 90% warning. This can go up or down. If you reach 100% this
time, stage four will occur.
04:: FUNERAL
What I like to call, the funeral stage. Your account will be deleted and
both your email address and your IP will be banned. We will also put you on
the blacklist and warn everyone to steer clear of you in other feds. I am
linked both directly and indirectly with a lot of feds and I can make sure
that you never find an e-fed. You will also be reported to e-fed databases
as well as proboards.
